From our Family to Yours, we hope and pray that everyone in your life is healthy and feeling well. We are pleased to announce the Full Re-Opening of our practice! As we begin to return to our normal lives, our practice is now open for all dental procedures, not just emergent ones. Throughout this crisis, we have remained open to care for all emergency patients and we look forward to resuming all aspects of dental care. Lack of oral health has been directly linked to more serious health issues and cannot be overlooked. It is important to resume dental cleanings and to address any dental issues that have been put off during this crisis. Our staff is fully prepared to continue to protect our Patients from not only Covid-19 but from all viral exposure as the Infection Control and Anti-viral protocols that we have practiced for 30 years far exceed industry standards. To all our patients that had appointments cancelled due to this health crisis, we will be contacting you to reschedule those appointments. As always you can reach us at 718-876-9100 to schedule an appointment on your own or with any questions you may have. As always, our office and lab continue to welcome all new patients and emergencies if your current dental office is not available We look forward to seeing each of you again soon! All the best, Dr. Mormino, Lauren, Lisa, Anne Marie, Mary, Gladys, Annie & MaryEllen

Smiles Tomorrow: Restoring Your Smile Quickly and Effectively

When you finally decide to do something about lost teeth, you want a solution as fast as possible.

With Smiles Tomorrow, Dr. Joseph Mormino can place and restore implants in 24 hours to give your smile comfort, function, and a beautiful appearance.

How does Smiles Tomorrow work?

If You Are Missing a Tooth, You Are Not Alone

Unlike traditional dentures, Smiles Tomorrow bridges (left) are supported by dental implants for functionality similar to what healthy natural teeth provide.

With Smiles Tomorrow, qualifying patients who need to replace lost or severely compromised teeth can experience improved health, aesthetics, and confidence in the span of about 24 hours. Developed by Dr. Joseph T. Mormino, this advanced treatment is designed to provide substantial and lasting relief faster than most other restorative dentistry treatments. If you are ready to stop suffering from the difficulties that an incomplete smile can present, we are prepared to provide you with fast relief in Staten Island, NY.

About the Treatment

This treatment typically requires five to six implants for a full-arch restoration, although treatment can be tailored to those who only need a partial bridge. When your bridge is complete - usually the day after implant surgery - we can attach it to your implants and make any adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort.

Before Surgery

When you come to our office for a consultation, Dr. Mormino will fully examine your damaged teeth and the health of your gums. He can then determine whether you are a candidate for the procedure. Any gum disease or tooth decay will require attention before proceeding with this treatment. Jawbone recession may also need to be resolved before placing implants.

If Smiles Tomorrow is right for you, digital imaging and other technology will be used to plan your treatment. Next, a surgeon will place your implants. Impressions will be taken of the jaw and implants, and these impressions will guide technicians in creating your bridge in our on-site lab. Smiles Tomorrow incorporates a unique interdependency between the implants and the bridge.
